The herbalife company was founded in 1980 by mark Hughes. He started by selling products out of his car. Just a short two years later the company became international with annual sales reaching $1 billion. Today the company now has over 4 thousand employees, with over 240 thousand distributors worldwide.
Products-
The herbalife product line consists of a huge variety of weightloss, nutrition, and health supplements as well as beauty products. A few would consist of total control, cell-u-loss, niteworks, liftoff, h3o, herbal aloe body wash, herbal aloe shampoo and conditioner, radient c-face quencher, and a lot more.
Business-
To be able to be a part of the herbal life team you first have to find a distributor which is the only way in. Then pay the $49 fee for your first pack. Now after buying the first pack which comes with you license to be a herbalife international distributor. You can then sell there products for retail and you pay wholesale. If being a distributor is all you’re interested in then that’s fine. If later on you decide you want to join the business and market it yourself like the thousands of other people doing it today then you pay another fee to upgrade into the business which includes products to sell an all the information on how to correctly market the products and the trainings to familiarize you on different marketing techniques and to teach you the ins an outs of the business. And then you can start yourself a downline.
Mentoring-
As far as mentoring if you show you truly want the success and are willing to put the time and effort into it than the mentoring is great. The help is there if you’re willing to work and be dedicated to the business.
Conclusion-
So by no means is herbalife a scam. However in my opinion making money can be relitively difficult with this company. Multi level marketing (mlm) is a more difficult way to make money than other types. So if you are looking for a little extra money and wouldn’t mind having seminars in your home to promote your products than this business may be right for you. Otherwise if seminars aren’t your cup of tea, I suggest you research a little further.
